Hidalgo is at the center of 3 major bridge crossings all leading to Reynosa, Tamaulipas Mexico, a city with nearly a million people. The McAllen-Hidalgo international bridge is undoubtedly the busiest bridge in the state of Texas, accommodating a significant influx of pedestrians and vehicles.
